The Aqua Pets game was released on July 27th, 2012 for the iPhone, iPad, and iPod. This initial launch, however, is a stand alone game that does not have social features included. Bionic Panda Games has stated that they will eventually add social features, as they did with the Android version. Due to the absence of social features, however, users of iPhone, iPad, and iPod will not be able to add friends, send or receive gifts, visit friends tanks, or transfer pets between devices. |
Gifts are bait and fish that can be sent to other players. The fish that can be sent as gifts are special fish that can not be caught via fishing; they are only available from the gift system.
To get to the "Send a Gift" page, tap on the gift icon that appears on the right-hand side of the main screen. You can send a gift via the "Contacts" list in your device, via "Facebook", or via your "Friends" list from within the Aqua Pets game.
First, tap on the gift that you want to send, then tap on the check box next to the name of the person who will receive the gift. Both selections will be indicated by a red check mark. Tap on the "Send Gift" button to actually send the gift. A pop-up message will indicate success when the gift has been sent.
You can send each gift once per day and you can only send each friend one gift per day. Gifts have no sell value to prevent players from mailing gifts to themselves via multiple accounts.
