The Freshwater Angelfish is commonly simply called an angelfish, due to the fact that it is the species of angelfish most frequently found in aquariums. Its scientific name is Pterophyllum Scalare. Like the real-life creature that it is based on, the Freshwater Angelfish is a large yellow fish with dark stripes running vertically along its entire body.
